Shipping speed, quality, performance, security, simplicity, and business value are not independent virtues. Good engineering is the tradeoff that fits the problem.

AI changed the workflow, not the fundamentals
AI makes research, prototyping, and automation faster. It also makes judgment, validation, architecture, and human accountability more important.
